  3. The Leica camera was the most expensive camera ever sold. It was sold in 1923 for an amount of $2.8 million in Vienna at an auction.
  4. A study says that the left side of peoples’ faces is seen as more aesthetically pleasing as compared to the right side. This could be attributed to the fact that we present a greater intensity of emotion on the left side of our face.
  5. 129 feet is the length of the longest photographic negative in the world. The negative is of a panorama of the streets of Buenos Aires.
  6. 12 Hasselblad cameras were left on the surface of moon after moon landings for collection of lunar samples.
  7. During the solar eclipse, tree leaves act as pinhole lenses that cast moon shaped images of the sun on the ground.

  9. Dilish Parekh from India holds the largest collection of cameras across the globe. He possesses 4425 antique cameras he has been collecting since the year 1977.
  10. Fox Talbot is the person who invented the negative in 1839.
  11. The first ‘photographic paper’ ever was made of asphalt.
  12. The first colored photograph ever was taken in 1861 by the British physicist James Maxwell.
